Britlee + Chase's Wedding Day
It has been one month since this gorgeous, fun-filled wedding day in Branson, Missouri at Dooley's Chapel celebrating the sweetest couple! From wild boat rides to cherished moments, this fall wedding had it all.
Making Waves
When I tell you I was in shock when B + C told me that we were going out on Table Rock Lake on a boat for their couples photos, I am not even kidding! I absolutely adore when couples do things outside of the box and this was so so fun. They both got to drive the boat and one of the owners of Dooley's Chapel helped me chase that golden hour glow for these amazing couples portraits!
Going to the Chapel
A big reason B + C picked this venue was due to the simple elegance it offers. As a photographer, this wedding venue was a dream! It was full of creamy white and we cannot forget about the windows where the couple said their I do's. The main ceremony space has towering windows with the most amazing views of the Ozark Mountains and Table Rock Lake. After exploring the whole property, I was in awe. The owners, Pat and Wendie, were so so kind and I can't wait to be back soon!
Britlee + Chase
What can I say, these two are one of the sweetest, most fun, genuine couples, I mean it. All throughout the day and even talking with them after, they have been nothing but a joy. Before the wedding, they told me a bit about their love story and how they met through mutual friends. I loved that they seemed to have this beautiful connection even from the very start. Looking through their images, I have found so many candid moments that just showed them being happy and in love, like they were the only ones in the room, soaking it all in.
Dancing the Night Away
There was something particularly special about the dancing at this wedding! It was a blast on the dance floor with such a variety of songs and so many people having fun. But what was truly special were the sweet moments. During the mother-son dance, the two of them sang the lyrics to a song from his childhood to each other. And I am not sure which was my favorite, B + C's first dance or their private last dance! During their first dance, they laughed, sang, and twirled to "There's the Sun" by Zach Top. Ending the day, they soaked it all in with Tim McGraw's "My Best Friend".
I can't stop thinking about how special this day was and I am so grateful to Britlee and Chase for having me photograph each of these precious memories!
